The Uses Of Forests

From olden days the trees are regarded as god. In some parts of the world, even today trees are worshiped as god.

It is a home for many animals and birds to live. Even man depends on forests for some reason or the other, whether directly or indirectly. Many Siddha, Ayurvedic and other medicinal plants are obtained from the plants in the forests.

The forests clear the carbon-di-oxides of the area. So it becomes the responsibility of every citizen to look after and protect the animals planting new trees and also guard against the forest fire.

Woods are used in construction for doors and windows and scaffoldings during constructions etc.

Forests are playing a vital role in global warming.

The life cycle of inter-dependency makes it necessity to increase the number of trees and the forest areas.

Some evergreens can mature at 50 years and some may live to be thousands of years old. The oldest known conifers are the bristlecone pines that grow in the southwestern United States. Some of the trees are even as old as 4,000 years. The trees of these forests could be used for making furniture, houses etc.
